Elite EXO soft armor from Point Blank is the result of years of product development and testing. By optimizing the ballistics and carrier design for both male and female officers using flexible materials, it allows for less discomfort and distraction, enabling officers to focus on their tasks more effectively.
As a leading innovator in this space, Point Blank always looks to integrate new and better technologies into customer solutions. While DuPont was developing a new ballistics material that became Kevlar® EXO™, Point Blank became an early developmental partner with DuPont to integrate this new technology into body armor solutions. The differentiation that DuPont’s Kevlar® EXO™ provided was class-leading ballistics performance but in the form of a woven aramid structure. This translates to considerably more flexible and comfortable soft armor design while still being able to maintain a low overall weight and meet NIJ (National Institute of Justice) ballistics requirements.
Point Blank has designed new Elite EXO soft armor designs to meet both NIJ .06 Level II and IIIA requirements. In the female version, groundbreaking design changes were made to provide the most conformable and flexible female solution available on the market.
The Elite EXO portfolio has been submitted to the NIJ for ballistics testing and should be certified and available for sale by Q1 2025.
