Video: Woman Jumps Off Bridge During Chase

Troutdale police say Rebecca Humphries jumped from the Stark Street Bridge into the Sandy River.

The chase went through Troutdale and onto the Stark Street Bridge when the woman exited the still-moving vehicle and jumped off the bridge into the Sandy River.

A woman fleeing from police in Troutdale, Ore. last week jumped from a bridge, and it was all captured on dashcam video.

A police officer attempted to stop 26-year-old Rebecca Humphries at SE 242nd Drive and Stark Street on Wednesday, but she then took off, according to KOIN-TV.

The officer checked the registration of the vehicle and found out that it was reported to be stolen.

The chase went through Troutdale and onto the Stark Street Bridge when the Humphries exited the still-moving vehicle and jumped off the bridge into the Sandy River.

Crews pulled the woman out alive from the frigid water and she was transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

She faces multiple charges related to the pursuit.
