Byron Center, Mich. – August 16, 2018 – PRO-VISION® Video Systems, the proven industry leader in mobile video technology for law enforcement, has released a new feature to all new and existing BC-300 body-worn camera models. This Covert Mode feature turns off the recording status lights when an officer is in a situation that may require it.
PRO-VISION® strives to listen to its customers when building and improving on its products. Agencies communicated to PROVISION® that body camera lights are a potential safety hazard at night, since the status lights could provide a target to an armed suspect. In these types of situations, officers can simply press a button to disable the lights. This feature is available to all existing BC-300s with a simple firmware update and is on all new models. “We continue to listen to our customers’ needs and develop products that meet and exceed them,” said Andrew Beach, Director of Sales & Service at PRO-VISION®
