The FBI has released video that it says shows North Lakeland resident Jonathan Pollock attacking law-enforcement officers outside the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.

Pollock, one of five Polk County residents charged in the riot at the Capitol, remains a fugitive nearly four months after being indicted on felony charges. The FBI's Tampa office had previously released still photos taken from officers' body cameras, but Tuesday's post on Twitter was the first release of video allegedly capturing Pollock assaulting officers.

The nearly three-minute post contains several snippets of video from the chaotic scene in which supporters of former President Donald Trump charged the Capitol building, fighting through officers and employing makeshift weapons against them.

Pollock, 21, is charged with assaulting multiple officers with a deadly weapon. More than 600 people have been indicted so far on charges related to the Jan. 6 riot.

The FBI's video clips show a bearded man in camouflage attire — identified by the agency as Pollock — in violent confrontations with District of Columbia Metro Police Department officers. Some of the clips are shown at reduced speed "to allow the viewer to see Pollock," accompanying text says.

One clip shows the man rushing out of a crowd to tackle an officer. After they grapple on the ground, the bearded man jumps to his feet, throws punches at two officers and then squeezes his hands around the neck of another fallen officer. The man in camouflage later approaches an officer from behind, grasps him by the shoulders and shoves him toward the ground.

In other clips, the man identified as Pollock is seen wresting a clear, plastic shield from an officer and then using the shield as a weapon to charge at and strike officers.

Text that follows the video says, "Pollock fled the Lakeland, Florida area in late June and is currently a fugitive. The FBI seeks public assistance in locating Pollock."

The text describes Pollock as 5-foot-10 and approximately 160 pounds, with brown hair and a thin/athletic build. Tips can be made to the FBI at 800-225-5234 or at tips.fbi.gov.

FBI agents arrested Pollock's older sister, Olivia Pollock, in June at the family's property in the Kathleen area. Agents also arrested three friends, two from North Lakeland, who allegedly traveled with the Pollocks to Washington and joined them in their advance on the Capitol building. None of the cases has yet gone to trial.
