A 35-year-old man is accused of breaking into a home in Atlanta's Buckhead neighborhood and attacking a couple inside before police arrived and nabbed the suspect.
Atlanta police foiled an alleged burglary suspect who attacked a couple at their home this week.
The incident happened Monday at a house in the city's Buckhead neighborhood, Cox Media reports. According to police, a 34-year-old man entered the home through the garage and confronted a woman inside.
After demanding car keys, the man is accused of attacking the woman. He then assaulted a man living there who tried to stop the suspect.
The suspect eventually made his way back out to the garage as police were responding to the scene. Body camera footage captured the confrontation with the officers, and the suspect was arrested.
The couple suffered from injuries that weren't considered life-threatening and are expected to recover.
