A viral video from the Essex Police Department captured Nova, one of the agency's K-9s, "picking up" a shovel and doing what she could to clear away snow.
A Vermont police K-9 was caught on video helping out the community in a unique way. With snow removal.
"K9 Nova is excited to announce her new job with Public Works assisting with shoveling," the department stated. "After they saw this application video they just couldn’t say no."
