    The North Las Vegas Police Department won the Top Agency award at the 33rd Annual LVMPD Police K-9 Trials as law enforcement dogs from across the country showed off their skills in Las Vegas.
    Alhambra police were conducting a late-night traffic stop when a transient allegedly snuck behind the wheel of a cruiser and sped off, kicking off a high-speed chase that ended with a K-9 catching the suspect.
    In a strange and tragic incident, Brooks, a K-9 with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, jumped the fence at their Lithia home and attacked a neighbor's alpaca before being shot and killed by the alpaca's owner.
