In a video posted by the Rocklin Police Department, an officer used a possibly stolen ukulele recovered during an arrest to put on an impromptu concert.

A California police officer's musical talent is getting him some attention after his department posted a video of his impromptu performance with a stolen ukulele.

The Rocklin Police Department video capturing Officer Marc Guillermo's skills was generated following a call of a suspicious person checking door handles in a neighborhood, according to an online post by the department. When police checked the area, they encountered a man matching the suspicious person's description who had concealed a bicycle in the bushes.

The suspect initially gave officers a false name, but after his real identity was discovered, police found  he had several misdemeanor and felony warrants for drug and theft-related charges. Officers also discovered burglary tools and several items believe to be stolen, including the bicycle and a ukulele.

While taking custody of the stolen items, Guillermo put on a mini-concert with the ukulele that the department caught on video.

"Also, during our investigation, we discovered Officer Guillermo's hidden talent for singing and playing the ukulele!" the department stated.

The man was arrested on the outstanding warrants, as well as for possession of burglary tools, and he was booked into jail. Police also are trying to locate possible theft victims, including the owner of the ukulele.
