The most innovative addition to this new AED is its manual override and data exchange capabilities. When trained trained medical personnel arrive, they can override the AED and manually deliver full energy defibrillation shocks. Later, the data from the Welch Allyn AED 20 can be transferred to the company's family of PICs via a datacard.
