Specifically designed for the corrections market and cell extraction, Tychem QC delivers superior protection against the biohazards and viral contaminants potentially faced when working with prisoners. It has been tested against 70 different chemicals, and is engineered with fabric and seams that pass the American Society for Testing and Materials' (ASTM) stringent guidelines for resistance to bloodborne viruses. The garment also features taped seams and secure zippers, making it tough and durable for cell extraction. Tychem QC for Corrections is available in low-visibility grey to provide contrast from inmates clothing, and is also generously sized to properly fit over any extra equipment officers may wear.
