The OHD QuantiCheck is one of the world’s first quantitative user seal check device. Given the nature of the current COVID-19 pandemic, OHD believes this technology to be pivotal in the global respiratory protection effort.
“The respiratory protection market has needed a better way to perform and document user seal checks," said Luke Allen, OHD’s President. "The gap between annual fit testing and qualitative user seal checks was too large for a significant amount of our global users especially in respect to the current COVID-19 situation. Entering a hazardous or contaminated area without a quantitative confident confirmation that your mask fits properly was a concern for many of our clients and that’s why we worked to develop the QuantiCheck system.”
Historically, user seal checks have been subjective, poorly performed, and often overlooked entirely. Now respirator users can quickly and easily complete their required user seal check with measurable accuracy. These checks can also be stored for each employee through the QuantiCheck App or QuantiCheck Software for documentation.
“The QuantiCheck is simply a static user seal check indicating the fit of the mask at the point in time the system is used. What makes this device stand out is that it is a measurable check of respirator seal that can be performed by the user each time the mask is donned," says Dr. Stephanie Lynch, OHD’s Product Manager. "A visible green or red light provides instantaneous feedback indicating if the user has an adequate seal”.
The QuantiCheck allows you to increase the health protection of your workforce while simultaneously limiting liability. The QuantiCheck® was designed to allow you to go above and beyond the set subjective standards for a user seal check.
