RAE Systems inc. has launched the ToxiRAE II, a single-gas personal monitor that provide continuous readouts of toxic gas concentrations at a price point that is competitive with many disposable detectors. Unlike disposable products, the ToxiRAE II provides users control and ease of use. As a one-button product, the ToxiRAE II is simple to calibrate and allows users to accept the default alarms or to modify the alarms to meet their specific requirements. This monitor has a large, easy-to-read LCD screen that provides a full featured, continuous digital display of a specific toxic gas concentration. Users can select from a range of toxic gas sensors including carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, nitric oxide, chlorine, chlorine dioxide, and more.
