CORBON added the 32 auto DPX load to the company’s line of high performance products designed for self defense and shooting enthusiasts.
The new load launches a 60 grain solid copper hollow point bullet at 1,050 feet per second. Testing of the new DPX load when fired into 10 percent ballistic gelatin with a 4 layer denim barrier shows penetration at 9 inches and consistent recovered diameters of 0.60 inches.
Features of CORBON’s DPX line combine the best of the lightweight high speed JHPs and the heavy weight, deep penetrating JHPs. Recoil and recovery between shots are similar to the lightweight rounds, while soft tissue penetration is similar to the heavy weight rounds.
