The Magloc Smart Gun Conversion for 1911A pistols is a drop-in conversion that requires no drilling and can be installed in less than 10 minutes. This smartgun system from Smart Lock Technology utilizes external magnetic force (in the form of a magnetic ring) to release the magnetic activated blocking plate (inside the firearm) thus allowing the hand holding energy to re-engage the firing mechanism. A "ready to fire" indicator protrudes, and can be felt by the trigger finger, when the gun is ready no need for visual confirmation. Once the system is activated, an on/off switch located on the left-hand-side can be switch to the on position. Allowing the owner to shoot without wearing the magnetic ring or pass the pistol to someone else to use.
