SHOT Show 2018 DeSantis Launched New Pegasus Kydex Holster Line

AMITYVILLE, New York - DeSantis Gunhide®, a division of HELGEN Industries Inc., launches its new, exclusively Kydex® line of holsters at the 2018 SHOT Show (booth 10962) in Las Vegas, January 23rd. The new division – dubbed PEGASUS – consists of 20+ Kydex® designs assembled with the same legendary hand-craftsmanship that made DeSantis leather the holster of choice for elite law enforcement.

“Our family built this company on ultra-high quality, pro-grade leather holsters”, notes company President Daniel DeSantis. “But we can deliver the same custom fit and finish in man-made materials like Kydex®. The new Pegasus line showcases how we’re a world-class technology company”.

DeSantis is known worldwide for its meticulously hand-stitched, tanned leather holsters. But many firearm enthusiasts – especially younger military veterans – prefer waterproof Kydex® for its durability and zero break-in time. “You can cut Kydex® incredibly thin which makes it the ideal material for concealment,” comments DeSantis Master Holster Designer (and veteran) Gene DeSantis. “The sky’s the limit in terms of the types of concealed carry variations we can create from this material”.

At this year’s SHOT Show, DeSantis rolled out the new Pegasus division with a special short film shot in the California desert.

The Infiltrator Air™ is a new IWB/OWB honed from molded Kydex® and offers an exclusive “breathable” backing component for exceptional EDC comfort.

The new Pipe Hitter™ is another highly versatile molded Kydex® IWB/OWB holster which includes an ingenious integrated mag pouch. It comes standard with “C” clips, but “J” clips are available as an upgrade option for even deeper concealment.

Slim Tuk™ is a stealthy concealable holster in the minimalist tradition. Cut from a thin, durable Kydex® sheet, this holster’s integrated 360™ “C” clip lets the Slim Tuk™ be worn almost any style, from appendix to small of back.
