TACM III, Inc. now has a Picatinny Quick Release Single Flashlight Mount that can be attached to any weapon using Picatinny type rail systems. The mount is designed to hold the TACM III 1-inch diameter flashlight. The flashlight is specifically designed to withstand the G-forces experienced when rough field handling is encountered. The Picatinny Quick Release Single Flashlight Mount complements the existing TACM III family of mounts for pistols, shotguns and assault type weapons. The TACM III Tactical Picatinny Quick Release Single Flashlight Mount, when used with the TACM III flashlight with its intense light beam of 105.5 lumens, offers the user the ability to quickly identify targets in dimly lit environments. This quality mount, which attaches easily to any Picatinny Rail, holds the TACM III flashlight which can be configured with either a remote pressure activated switch or a on/off/momentary switch. The mount is made of aircraft aluminum and weights 1.2 ounces. The flashlight is made from unbreakable black Delrin plastic, weighs 3.9 ounces with two 3 volt lithium batteries installed and is only 4.5 inches long by 1 inch in diameter. The batteries provide approximately 1 hour 20 minutes of continuous use and have a shelf life of about 10 years. The 6 volt Xenon bulb assembly is a high impact lens system specifically designed to handle the high G-forces that occur during the discharge of firearms and rough field handling.
