• The TAM-14 thermal monocular is easy to hold in hand, and is extremely small and lightweight.  Within seconds the TAM-14 can be attached via its incorporated Quik-Rail to a weapon base.  The system has an internally retical and uses base mount adjustments for elevation and windage corrections as well as a bullet drop compensator designed for NATO 7.62 or 5.56 calibers.  As easy as the TAM-14 slides onto the weapon base it can be detached and slid onto the HMSAA (helmet mount swing arm adapter) that allows the TAM-14 to be attached to a standard U.S. style NVG flip-up helmet mount or standard night vision head gear as used with the PVS-7B/D or PVS-14.
