The Samson Evolution Series is the next stepforward in free floating hand guards. Light weight and durable these offer an upgrade for 3 gun shooters, LE/Military or weekend enthusiasts alike. The 1.8-inch facetted D.D. offers a comfortable shooting platformwhile not being to large for most shooters. Accessory railscan be added or removed easily to adapt the hand guard toyour needs (units can also be mounted at 45 degree offsets).
The thermal bushing locks onto the stock barrel nut for a rocksolid lock up.
Thermal Bushings helps to substantially reduce heat transferto the handguards.
No special tools required for installation.Short tabs on eitherside of the upper receiver keep the Evolution rail from rotating.
There are Evolution rails availableto fit most common piston systemson the market.
Four inch extension tubes can be used with any Evolution handguard for extending sight radius or for adding additional grip space for those who use a long hold on their support side. All piston controls are stillaccessable with the extension in place. Optional quickrelease sling attachment points are also available.
