From the company that revolutionized the rimfire pistol market with the P22, Walther introduces the new PPQ M2 .22 L.R. which will set the new standard for rimfire handguns The PPQ M2 family is now available in .40 S&W; 9mm and .22 L.R. All are striker fired blow back actions.
Offered in three different SKUs, the PPQ M2 .22 has either a 4-inch barrel with an overall length of 7.1 inches or the 5-inch model has an overall length 8.1 inches. All PPQs have a trigger pull that is light and smooth at 4.85 pounds
of pressure with a trigger travel of only .16 of an inch. The PPQ M2 .22 is made for easy manipulation and perfect for any age or stature. The 4- inch models weigh 19 ounces and just 20 ounces for the 5 inch target model.
This new rimfire comes standard with a 12 round magazine and equipped with two safeties – firing pin block and a trigger safety.
For additional safety, all the new models include a loaded chamber indicator. The slide stop is extended for convenience and safe operation with gloves. The magazine release is ambidextrous for easy use either right or left handed. What really sets this rimfire leader apart is the attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
The two four-inch models include a polymer front sight and a click rear sight so it is adjustable for wind and elevation. All PPQ M2 .22s have a standard Picatinny rail (MIL-STD – 1913) so adding modern popular accessories such as a laser or tactical light is easy and quick. The 5-inch target model has a high-visibility fiber optic sight for great accuracy. The PPQ Tactical version has a threaded barrel for a suppressor. This easy shooting gun has all the classic Walther attributes such as an ergonomical grip; easy takedown button for field stripping and cleaning; front and rear serrations for easy slide manipulation and serrated trigger guard. This .22 L.R. has an anodized aluminum slide for exceptional corrosion resistance so it will last from generation to generation.
