HYSKORE® Announces the DUAL DAMPER Machine Shooting Rest
HUNTINGTON STATION, NEW YORK USA (PRWEB) January 06, 2015 -- The HYSKORE® (http://www.hyskore.com) Dual Damper Machine Shooting Rest, will be introduced at the 2015 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, and is available for immediate delivery. According to HYSKORE® spokesman Ted Werner, “The Dual Damper Machine Shooting Rest is a full featured, state of the art; compression dampened gun support system that adapts to the unique geometry of AR15 and AK47 style weapons.”
The elimination of recoil using compression damper technology represents a major advancement in varmint, bench rest, target and tactical shooting platforms. The physiological and psychosomatic results of pain caused by a strong recoil pulse are well known to shooters. http://www.chuckhawks.com/column6_flinching.htm A gun support system or shooting rest using compression damper technology synchronized to the gun’s recoil characteristics makes sight calibration easy, precise, and painless. The Dual Damper Machine Rest is designed to perfectly match the recoil profile of the .223 / 5.56; it will also handle everything from a .22 caliber rimfire up to a .338 Winchester magnum. Dual, long stroke, compression dampers progressively absorb the recoil pulse and return the rifle to battery after each shot. Whether hunting white tail deer, shooting at the range or on a safari, this is the shooting rest to own.
The DDMR features a dual rail frame design that allows pistol grips and extended magazines to comfortably fit between the rails. One low resistance, 100mm stroke compression damper is mounted to each rail providing a balanced, progressive reduction in recoil and then returns the gun to battery after each shot. The gun carrier incorporates linear motion bearings that ride on polished chrome rails to provide unequaled repeatability and accuracy – shot after shot. The gun can be fired directly off the shoulder or clamped in the included vise and fired utilizing the remote hydraulic trigger release. The vise is easily removed to reveal a platform that is ideal for a user supplied shooting rest bag. This type of gun sighting rest is now seen at shooting ranges all across the country. Whether reloading ammunition, deer hunting or target shooting this is the perfect sighting rest. Turkey hunters using shotguns shooting high energy turkey loads will welcome the recoil reduction feature when test firing their guns to identify shot patterns.
Progressive recoil pulse reduction is critical to maintaining the structural integrity of the gun stock, bedding, and rifle scope. Guns are designed with the knowledge that recoil will be progressively absorbed by the mass and flexing of the shooter. If this didn’t happen the recoil contact surfaces in the gun stock would enlarge, possibly breaking the stock, and almost always creating extra clearance that can turn a sub M.O.A.
(http://www.economicexpert.com/a/Minute:of:arc.htm), gun into a 2 or 3 M.O.A. gun.
The DDMR produces results on paper targets that are repeatable up to the full potential of the rifle and ammunition’s capability. Repeatability is of great importance in synchronizing ammunition to the twist rate of a rifle’s barrel and for reloading ammunition. It goes without saying, that consistent results are necessary to properly sight in or zero a rifle scope.
A key component of the DDMR is the compression damper, which is a steel tube with a smooth interior and sealed at one end. A piston with gas tight seals mounted on a shaft moves within the tube. The shaft is supported in a bushing in the open end of the tube. Dry pressurized nitrogen gas is pumped into the space ahead of the piston. The pressure of the gas determines the resistance of the device. When pressure on the piston compresses the nitrogen it raises its temperature converting the kinetic energy caused by the recoil pulse into heat energy. As the piston travels energy is continuously bled off, progressively absorbing the recoil.
A full range of purpose built long gun and hand gun maintenance and shooting accessories including compression dampened recoil attenuating shooting, tactical, and varmint rests is available from HYSKORE®, http://www.hyskore.com. The lineup consists of the Rapid Fire® Precision Shooting Rest, the Bench Beast® Coaxial Competition Shooting Rest, the DLX Precision Sighting Rest, the Dangerous Game® Machine Rest, the Dead Eye® Tactical & Varmint Rest, the Parallax Cleaning and Sighting Rest, the Black Gun® Shooting Rest, and the Black Gun® Machine Rest, which is designed for AK-47 and AR15 tactical rifles with high capacity magazines and pistol grips. These are all fully supported on the HYSKORE® website with instruction manuals, target down loads, and both demo and tutorial videos. Most importantly, these advanced shooting rests are affordable to the average shooter.
