(April 2018) - DoubleStar Corp, manufacturers of high-quality, US-made AR components, rifles and pistols, is pleased to announce it will be exhibiting at the 2018 National Rifle Association (NRA) Annual Meetings & Exhibits at Booth 8714 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas, May 4-6, 2018. DoubleStar, known throughout the shooting community as the manufacturer of customer spec builds, high quality rifles and 1911 style pistols, will have its precision performance STAR10-B™ and its new STAR10-BX™ rifles, the new ARP7 Pistol, edged weapons and the PhD™ series 1911 on display at its booth.

    STAR-10B rifle in .308 The STAR10-B in .308 merges supreme accuracy, unfailing reliability and blazing fast operation. The STAR10-BX rifle was recently released in two new calibers, 6.5 Creedmoor and .260 Remington, and has been featured in the May 2018 Shooting Illustrated New Guns 2018 article. Destined to rule the range, shooting match and hunting field, these rifles elevate the power and precision of the AR-10 platform to a new level. Featuring a billet aircraft 7075 T6 aluminum upper and lower receiver anodized to MIL-SPEC, ACE Hammer™ stock and Bullseye™ Muzzle Brake, these rifles are real heavy hitters. MSRP $2,549.99.

    The DoubleStar ARP7 Pistol takes AR-style pistols to the next level. Weighing in at just 5.4 lbs. with an overall length of 24.5," the ARP7 is what an AR-style pistol should be. The ARP7 is loaded with upgrades that make it a versatile platform from front to back. Features include the Big Timber Brake, new DoubleStar Cloak MLOK handguard, Ambidextrous Selector, Ergo Sure Grip, Backbone Billet Charging Handle with Strike Industries Tac Latch and the extremely durable billet DoubleStar Strongarm™ Pistol Brace. MSRP is $1,299.99 and it is available to ship immediately.
    The Edged Weapon Division of DoubleStar, launched in 2017, will have several of its blades on display, include the Motac™, Wrath™ (Crash Hawk™), Halcon-X™, Lite-Fighter-X™, Fury™ (Crashete™), Fang™, Drakon™ and Brimstone Folder Knives. The recently released Brimstone Folder Knives, developed in collaboration with Mike Vellekamp of V Nives LLC, were designed to look and feel like a custom knife without the custom price or wait. Weighing in at 3.4 oz. with an overall length of eight inches, the Brimstone blade is made from D2 Tool Steel with a machined G-10 Scales handle. It is available in black on black, black on satin and blue on satin. MSRP $74.99.

    The PhD (Personal Home Defense) 1911 Pistol was developed by DoubleStar to be the finest 1911 solely focused on personal home defense. The PhD 1911, the first in a series of pistols that provide a quality production gun and the features of a high end 1911, without the lengthy wait or high price tag, features aggressive rear cocking serrations for a sure grip in the harshest of environments. The slide has been flat-topped and serrated to reduce glare. All models in this series are equipped with Express sights from XS® with a tritium front sight for fast target acquisition, even in low light situations. Comfort is provided from the round butt and Wilson Combat high-ride beavertail grip safety.
