New for 2019: Performance Center® Announces Ported M&P® Shield M2.0™
SPRINGFIELD, Mass., (January 21, 2019) – Performance Center today announced the launch of its new Ported M&P Shield M2.0 pistol, available in 9mm, 40 S&W and 45 Auto. The new Performance Center Ported M&P Shield M2.0 pistolfeatures a ported barrel and slide for reduced muzzle flip, and has been enhanced to include the popular M&P M2.0 feature set. Featuring an aggressive grip texture, front slide serrations, and a Performance Center-enhanced M2.0 trigger, the new Performance Center Ported M&P Shield M2.0 is an ideal choice for concealed carry.

While the popularity of the M2.0 platform continued to expand, we knew we needed to develop a Performance Center pistol with M2.0 enhancements, and the M&P Shield felt like the natural place to start. This new pistol features a ported barrel and slide direct from the factory, as well as all of the M2.0 enhancements and multiple sight options: a homerun for every day carry.”
Additional Performance Center Ported M&P Shield M2.0 Features include:
- Performance Center enhanced trigger for a crisp, light trigger pull
- M&P’s patented take-down lever and sear deactivation systems for disassembly without pulling the trigger
- Ported barrel and slide for reduced muzzle flip

In addition to the features listed above, the Performance Center Ported M&P Shield M2.0 will ship with a Performance Center-branded Tipton® Compact Pistol Cleaning Kit, which includes bore brushes, a cleaning rod and related accessories to clean the pistol after use. The new Performance Center Ported M&P Shield M2.0 pistol carries an MSRP of $539 with HI-VIZ fiber optic sights, or an MSRP of $623 when outfitted with tritium night sights.
