NORTH HAVEN, CT – Mossberg, America’s oldest family-owned firearms manufacturer, is pleased to announce a one-day, hands-on Mossberg 590/500 Armorers class through the SIG SAUER Academy in Newington, NH. Several dates will be available throughout their 2024 course schedule to include February 15, March 13, and April 10, 2024.
“With the ever-increasing popularity of the Mossberg 590 and 500 platform, it was necessary to expand the availability of armorers classes to meet demand,” said John MacLellan, Mossberg’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “SIG SAUER Academy was an obvious choice for a partner due to their high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and national reach.”
The Mossberg 590/500 course will focus on the functioning of the firearms, disassembly and assembly, maintenance, troubleshooting, and field maintenance of Mossberg’s durable and time-proven pump-action platform. Participants will be guided through step-by-step processes and experience hands-on training for all armorer’s operations. The course is designed for dealers, gunsmiths, and law enforcement agencies who wish to maintain their Mossberg shotguns and understand the mechanics of the 590/500.
