Primary Weapons Systems announces a new line of pistols in the MOD1-P Patrol line and the MOD2 line of products. These pistols fill a void in the market for lightweight, sleek and reliable pistols. Both MOD1-P and MOD2 pistols will be available through PWS dealers, at primaryweapons.com and were featured at the 2017 PWS SHOT Show booth in January. Until now, shooters looking for an AR pistol platform have been limited to either a Direct Impingement pistol with limited reliability, or a Piston pistol with extra weight and a lack of comfort with an arm brace. In order to keep the PWS MOD1-P and MOD2 pistols lightweight, Primary Weapons sells their pistols exclusively with the Maxim Defense CQB Pistol EXC (MSRP: $395.00). Available in both 7.75” barrel and 11.85” barrel in the .223 Wylde caliber as well as a limited run of 300BLK caliber, Primary Weapons Systems will offer complete pistols at retail pricing between $1,899.95-$2,349.95 dependent on model. The MK1 MOD1-P(Patrol) Pistol line offers PWS owners our proven long-stroke piston design with mil-spec forged receiver set and forward assist as well as PWS unique features including our in-house machine profiled and chambered barrels with 1:8 twist rate, KeyMod rail, and FNC LIFE HD (Lithium embedded salt nitro-carburized treatment) of select internal parts. The MOD2 pistol offers a more lightweight option with the same in-house machine profiled and chambered barrels with 1:8 twist rate and long-stroke piston operating system, but also the PicMod™ rail, proprietary upper receiver with lightning cuts, no forward assist, and FNC LIFE HD (Lithium embedded salt nitro-carburized treatment) of select internal parts.
