ArmaLite offers a semiautomatic sniper system, the Super SASS, to its AR family. ArmaLite's idea for the Super SASS began when the U.S. Army solicited them for a specific rifle design. ArmaLite's Super SASS design was unconstrained by the limitations of the solicitation and is a superior configuration than the Army's request. Some unique features include an adjustable gas system, ArmaLite's new 20 round magazine, ArmaLite's free float rail system and their flip up rear and front sites. Also, the Super SASS is outfitted with an AAC Suppressor on all military and law enforcement versions. The Super SASS is available in commercial and military/law enforcement versions.
