P stands for Precise, the Nitecore product line for tactical applications. Purpose built for tactical and combat use, the P20UV has a STROBE REDAY tail switch to allow instant activation of strobe in any state. This feature offers responsiveness to threatening situations, absolute reliability and unprecedented ease of use.
Supplemented with four secondary ultraviolet LEDs, the P20UV packs a UV output at 365nm besides a white output at max 800lms from a micro textured metal reflector. It is able to assist security personnel, law enforcement and corrections officers with identification, authentication and forensics procedures.
Its three primary settings and an adjustable brightness system suit user preferences in all circumstances: tactical and law enforcement modes for professionals in the field and the general mode for casual users. The adjustable brightness system provides low, medium, turbo and UV outputs.
