    Suspect Dead After Texas Hostage Situation

    A suspected gunman is dead following a hostage situation at a Walmart in Amarillo, Texas Tuesday.

    Police responded to the retail store at 4209 Canyon Drive for what was described as an incident of workplace violence, according to The Golbe-News.

    Neighboring businesses were put on lockdown as SWAT team members converged on the building.

    Authorities confirmed that the suspect was shot and killed and that the hostages are all safe.
