OleaVision See-Through Wall Technology - Under $500 per (projected price)
Olea Sensor Networks announced its OleaVision See-Through Wall Technology, which functions optimally at a distance of 3 to 4 meters from the target wall surface, requiring no contact whatsoever with that wall. Additionally, this revolutionary technology trumps other available technologies in its ability to "see" a living being, through most wall materials, regardless of whether the monitored subject is moving or motionless, and is light-weight and smaller than a smartphone.
OleaVision will enable first responders and armed forces or security personnel to save more lives by quickly identifying people in search and rescue operations. This is a disruptive technology which would enhance situational awareness, particularly for military personnel, in order to identify an adversarial presence without risking exposure that comes with time spent making contact with a subject wall. OleaVision is a night vision-technology whose performance is agnostic to interference from or compromise due to thermal energy in the target area as in the case of fire or a fire fight.
"We are very excited to be offering this high-performance technology to the marketplace," explained Frank Morese, Olea CEO and Founder. "OleaVision brings both a more practical and advanced solution with a projected price point of under $500 per unit as compared to existing technologies for these markets which cost between $5,000- $30,000."
Olea Sensor Networks projects OleaVision for these markets to be available by August of 2016 and welcomes inquiries at any time on any of its technologies.
About Olea's Intelligent Sensors and Analytic Software
The OS-3005 Intelligent Multi-Sensor Platform, the flagship product Olea launched in 2016 specifically for non-clinical R&D use, is a handheld/wearable, wireless, intelligent, multi-sensor data acquisition platform in a form factor smaller than the size of a business card and weighing 1oz. It serves as a sensor hub with various on-board intelligent sensors. This feature-rich platform, now in its forth generation, does not require direct contact with the monitored subject and is designed for use with Olea's sensor analytics software and, optionally, its cloud-based service solutions that take full advantage of Olea's IoT Intelligent Partitioning Architecture. OleaVision's breakthrough technology further extends this Olea platform with increasingly advanced intelligent sensors and sensor networks.
