Med-Eng and CeoTronics announced their agreement to provide an advanced wireless communications system to Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) customers in over 100 countries worldwide. The agreement will allow Med-Eng to provide the CT-DECT radio to Bomb Disposal Technicians through its international network of Channel Partners.
The CT-DECT radio is widely recognized for its superior performance, with crystal clear full duplex sound quality and remarkably low power consumption. The CT-DECT platform is already deployed in numerous countries by leading First Responder agencies and has the technical capabilities needed for explosives disposal missions in public safety and military operations. Its audio quality has earned the respect of users the world over and its ability to extend its range through a re-transmitter enables it to be deployed in challenging urban environments.
Rob Reynolds, Vice President of EOD for Med-Eng, commented, “The CeoTronics communications system provides our customer base with the performance, audio quality and reliability they demand. Offering this exceptional system in conjunction with the EOD 9 Bomb Suit is another example of how Med-Eng supports its customers with truly integrated solutions that continue to be unmatched in the industry.”
Andreas Hitzel, Sales Director of CeoTronics expressed, “Working together with Med-Eng and leveraging their highly effective sales channels to market in over 100 countries is very exciting because it means end users will benefit from the performance of two best-in-class products provided seamlessly from the same trusted local source. We believe that maximizing blast protection and operational communications will ultimately translate into safer operations.”
