DoubleStar Announces Collaboration with Knife Designer Darrin Sirois

Ret. Sergeant Major and Owner, Operator and Founder of TCT Knives (Tactical Combat Tools), Darrin Sirois, to work with DoubleStar to render his designs into affordable production knives.

Winchester, Ky. (July 2017) - DoubleStar Corp, manufacturers of high-quality, US-made AR components, rifles and pistols, announces a new collaboration with knife designer Darrin Sirois. DoubleStar will work with Sirois to render his designs into affordable production knives for its new Edged Weapon Division. Sirois served 25 years active duty in the military where he got his start in knife making as an outlet for combat related stresses. He is the current owner, operator and founder of TCT Knives (Tactical Combat Tools).

While serving in the military, Sirois' assignments included the Ranger Regiment, Special Forces and Special Operations. He retired in 2014 as a Sergeant Major. Knife making began as a hobby in 2008, but quickly turned into a passion. His blades are field tested and are currently serving in Afghanistan, Africa and worldwide. Sirois has designed knives for celebrities, including designing an ax for Hakim Isler to use on a challenge during "Naked and Afraid."

The first knife designed by Sirois to be featured by DoubleStar will be the Lite Fighter. This tactical knife is perfectly balanced and ergonomically designed for tactical, as well as everyday use. The knife is currently under production and more information will be released as it becomes available.

Sirois is the current Treasurer for the North Carolina Custom Knifemakers Guild, where he has been an active member for over five years.
