Boker Celebrates 150 Years with Commemorative Knives

Dec. 28, 2018
The Boker 150 Anniversary Series will be available Spring 2019.

150 years of Boker knives - definitely a good reason to celebrate! And of course, Boker wants its customers to take part in that celebration – therefore they are producing an exclusive series of commemorative knives.

The selected models of this Anniversary Series are each an important part of Boker history, and thus represent a kind of overview over the years of production, from the oldest of all, the Camp Knife, up to more modern designs like the Cub. These exceptional models are equipped with handle scales crafted of stabilized Curly Birch, in a rich green. The unique grain and color of this wood blends in perfectly with the new blade finish, which is a special mix between a polished surface and a satin finish.

The blades all feature an elaborate two color etching, with a genuine gold etched Boker tree in the ancient version, and a deep black inscription, which creates an attractive contrast and a special appeal. This type of etching is a very traditional way of applying a logo on a blade, and has a long tradition, especially in Solingen, for high-quality knives. Additionally, the tree logo in the handle is a special anniversary edition as well, to underline the uniqueness of this celebration.

All knives in the series are made exclusively for the U.S. market, individually serial numbered and strictly limited to 150 pieces each. They are handmade in Boker's Solingen manufactory, and come in special anniversary packaging with a certificate of authenticity.

The Boker 150th Anniversary Series will be available for purchase through Boker USA, Inc., in Spring 2019.
