Conference Registration Rate:
EARLY BIRD Conference Registration Rate:
Early Bird registration is only $450 and includes a one-year NASRO membership. To take advantage of this outstanding value, you must register, and pay, by January 1, 2021. Registrations that are unpaid on January 1, 2021 will be cancelled.
REGULAR Conference Registration Rate:
Regular Conference registration is $500 for current NASRO members and $550 for non-members. You may register at this rate from January 2 - June 15. 2021.
LATE Conference Registration Rate:
Beginning June 16, 2021 conference registration will be $575 for current NASRO members and $625 for non-members.
CANCELLATIONS:
Cancellation requests must be emailed to [email protected]. If the registration fee has already been paid, a refund will be issued. Cancellations made on or after June 15, 2021, or no-shows to the conference, will forfeit all registration fees.
NASRO reserves the right to cancel or reschedule training. If NASRO cancels or reschedules training due to weather or unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of NASRO, you are entitled to a full refund. NASRO is not responsible for travel arrangements, travel fees, or any expenses incurred by you as a result of such cancellations. If NASRO cancels a training in which you are enrolled, you will be contacted at the email address you provided when registering, so please be sure to provide a valid email address.

KEYNOTE PRESENTERS
Bernie James, J.D., Professor of Law at Pepperdine University (CA), School Law Update
Bernie James, a professor at Pepperdine University, is a contributing editor to the NASRO Journal of School Safety. He specializes in Civil Rights, Constitutional Law, and Education Law, and is the author of the textbook Education Policy and the Law: Cases and Commentary and numerous articles on law, education, and religion. He lectures in the United States and Canada on constitutional issues and serves as a commentator for the national and local media discussing U.S. Supreme Court decisions.
Dr. Peter Langman, Preventing School Shootings
Dr. Langman is a psychologist whose research on school shooters has received international recognition. His book, Why Kids Kill: Inside the Minds of School Shooters, was named an Outstanding Academic Title and was translated into German, Dutch, and Finnish. His work has been cited in congressional testimony on Capitol Hill and he has been interviewed by the New York Times, The Today Show, 20/20, Nightline, Fox, CNN, the BBC, and 400 other news outlets in the USA, Canada, South America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. After the Sandy Hook attack, the CEO of the American Psychological Association presented Dr. Langman’s recommendations on school safety to President Obama. He has presented at the FBI National Academy in Quantico, and been hired by Homeland Security to train professionals in school safety. He maintains the largest online collection of materials relating to school shooters at schoolshooters.info, including over 500 documents totaling 60,000 pages. His latest book is School Shooters: Understanding High School, College, and Adult Perpetrators. In 2018, Dr. Langman became a researcher with the National Threat Assessment Center of the United States Secret Service.
