will be exhibiting the Parabon Snapshot® DNA Phenotyping Service at the 2018 Homicide Investigators of Texas 32nd Annual Training Conference, March 19 - 22, 2018, in San Antonio, Texas.
Snapshot is a revolutionary new forensic DNA analysis service that accurately predicts the physical appearance and ancestry of an unknown person from DNA. It can also determine kinship between DNA samples out to six degrees of relatedness. The Snapshot service can aid in generating investigative leads, narrowing suspect lists and identifying unknown remains.
The Homicide Investigators of Texas is an organization composed of city, county, state and federal police officers, as well as forensic professionals and prosecutors in and around the state of Texas actively involved in homicide investigations. This association of professionals has been organized to work collectively to bring murderers to justice, as well as provide continuing education to those involved in the investigation and prosecution of the most severe crime against humanity, that being the murder of another person.
