Branching Video System (BVS)

July 20, 2010

Laser Shot’s Branching Video System (BVS) judgmental training system uses interactive, easy-to use tools and HD video scenarios with resolution up to 1920 by 1080. Tools such as advanced zoning options and drag-and-drop controls for importing scenarios into the design canvas, create a simple platform for creating videos and branches that are then automatically generated and displayed in a top-down, real-time 3D view. During training the instructor can choose manual or exclusive hands-free branch operation of the scenario thus enabling more instructor/student interaction. BVS creates conditional branches during the design/editing process. With conditional branches instructors create scenarios that automatically branch when instructor provided criteria is met such as hitting a specific target or when a threat level has increased. BVS may also combine with other Laser Shot technologies for real-time shot analysis, enhanced after-action review, look-back features, shoot-back options, and 3D-projection capability.
