SANFORD, Fla. (February 16, 2017) – Derive Systems, an automotive fleet engine software developer, is hosting a unique driving experience at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California to showcase how Derive Efficiency software and calibrations can improve a fleet’s overall efficiency and performance.
The team at Derive Systems has been sharing the benefits of using Derive Efficiency software in many ways over the years from articles and literature to tradeshows and testimonials. But now, there is an opportunity to test the product hands on and experience how the use of this technology can unlock a fleet’s potential and save money.
On March 3rd, 2017, Derive Systems will welcome guests to the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. This will give them a first-hand experience in calibrating vehicles on the spot, then testing the vehicle on the track to feel the performance difference. Then they will be able to see the savings potential first hand with the Derive Efficiency team.
“Derive Efficiency software is capable of increasing efficiency in a variety of ways, but for law enforcement vehicles, the biggest savings come from lowering idle RPM,” said Tom Kanewske, Senior Director for Business Development, Derive Systems. “Because of the nature of police work, vehicles must sit for lengthy periods of time in idle waiting for the moment when they need to jump into action. By recalibrating engine software, a police department can see major fuel savings without sacrificing performance or safety.”
There are a limited number of spots available so that everyone can fully experience the Derive difference. Registrations can be submitted here: http://efficiency.derivesystems.com/fontana
About Derive Systems
Since 2003, Derive Systems has been producing engine fuel savings software that saves both public and private fleets millions of dollars. Derive shifts the responsibility for improved fleet performance from the driver to the vehicle. Its Derive Efficiency software makes changes to a vehicle’s powertrain calibration allowing it to idle at a lower RPM, meaning less fuel consumption, lower cost and a smaller carbon footprint. More than 50,000 vehicles are on the road using Derive Efficiency including fleets from Pepsi, Sears, ARS Rescue Rooter and many law enforcement agencies and government municipalities.
