Mobile Command Centers has delivered a custom designed 45-foot command center to the Spokane (Washington) County Sheriff's department. It will be jointly used by the sheriff's department, police department and the fire department and was purchased with Department of Homeland Security grant funds. It is built on a Columbia series Freighliner chassis with a 450-hp diesel engine and 12-speed automatic transmission. The center has workstations for four and seating for up to 18. It is equipped with a 12-foot glide room, a 20- Kw Power-tech generator, an Intec video surveillance PTZ color camera mounted on a 30-foot Will-Burt mast, a microwave transmitter and receiver mounted on a 20-foot mast, a Columbia weather system with four display screens, three electronic white boards, and 10 large flat-panel LCD TV screens.
