Watch Fla. Deputies Help Plane Take Off after Emergency Landing

June 3, 2022
Clay County sheriff's deputies towed a small airplane and helped it get back up in the sky after the aircraft made an emergency landing on a highway.

Florida deputies helped a plane retake the skies after a pilot made an emergency landing on the highway.

On Thursday, Sheriff Michelle Cook posted the video of her deputies towing the plane on Hwy 16 on the Clay County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.

The first of two videos showed a Clay County deputy driving a county truck with the plane tied to the truck bed.

A second video showed a deputy following behind the plane as it sped down the highway before taking off again.

Sheriff Cook said the pilot wasn’t injured during the emergency landing.

She also joked on the Facebook caption about adding “emergency plane towing” to the list of services offered the Clay County.
