Video: San Diego Police Vehicle Hits Fire Hydrant after Crash

The accident happened when a car collided with a San Diego Police Department vehicle that was responding to a residential fire.
A fire hydrant erupted beneath a San Diego Police Department vehicle following a crash late Friday.
The incident happened just before 11:30 p.m. while a San Diego police officer was responding to a residential fire, OnScene TV reports. A car collided with the patrol vehicle and caused it to shear off a fire hydrant.
The police officer was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The cars driver was uninjured.
