EVD-3000+

From AUTOCLEAR and Scintrex Trace, the model EVD-3000+ is based upon the EVD-3000 and is now ultra-sensitive. Lightweight, with an improved “front end,” the EVD-3000+ is a Thermo-Redox based, dual-mode hand-held unit used for non-invasively detecting explosive and narcotics vapors and particulates in vehicles, containers, luggage, or anywhere suspect. 

Sampling with the EVD-3000+ is extremely simple, and it automatically displays accurate results in seconds on its LCD screen. The enhanced model demonstrates even greater sensitivity to plastics and high-vapor pressure explosives, minute traces of C4, TNT, Dynamite, PETN, Semtex, RDX, Black Powder, NG, and many chemical warfare reagents.  The EVD-3000+ also identifies all ICAO taggants, such as EGDN and DMNB.  Hits are confirmed and even the very low false alarm rate has been improved.  Federal, Police, Military, bomb squads, customs, airport, nuclear, mail, and other facilities will have a much easier time detecting trace explosives and chemical reagents using the EVD-3000+. 

With new surface-mount electronics and enhanced software, the EVD comes with a long list of features. The EVD and E3500 portable series do not emit any radiation or use any carrier gas, and does not use any isotopes. Unlike less proven trace detection units, the EVD-3000+ does not use any type of expensive or troublesome consumables easing operation and removing downtime.
