A Texas police officer shot in the face during a November training exercise was released from a rehab center last week.
Sansom Park Police Officer Lina Mino was greeted Friday by colleagues from area departments, including Fort Worth, Westover, White Settlement, Mansfield and others, KDFW-TV reports. On Nov. 5, Mino was hospitalized in critical condition after she was shot and wounded during a training exercise at a Forest Hill school.

Following the incident, Mino required surgery for head trauma from the shooting. A GoFundMe page was created with a goal of raising $20,000 for Mino, and the campaign has earned over $18,000 as of Monday.
"Her attitude will bring her back one day, I guarantee it," said Samson Park Police Chief James Burchfield about the possibility of Mino returning to service. "We are here waiting for her, whenever she can get back."
