CeoTronics Inc. releases the CT DECT Wireless Communication System for hazmat and bomb disposal. The CT DECT system provides technicians with wireless digital full duplex communications to provide hands-free operation while performing duties. The increase in safety for the technician is immeasurable, and the system can be linked to the command post/responding vehicle via a standard long-distance. The duplex communication between the technicians is via a 5 mW low-power unit that does not jeopardize the explosive device/chemical environment. Other benefits include open mike/open speaker, direct connection to MED ENG EOD8/9 helmet, compatible use with level A and B hazmat suits, expandable to eight users, and completely portable network.
