The protected display on top of the radio, which is illuminated for nighttime viewing can be iverted when worn on a belth or chest pack. Users will appreciate the clear, 7-character alphanumeric channel nametags displayed along witht zone-group number, as well as the 2-digit numeric display and 6 operational icons. The TI-5400 provides a full 3W 800 MHz output. Each channel can be individually set to either high (3W) or low (1W) power. Both keypad and non-keypad models are available.
