Philips SpeechLive, a new, secure cloud-based dictation workflow solution streamlines the incident-report and document creation process for all law enforcement agencies. SpeechLive is also easy to use. Using their Philips Digital Pocket Memo dictation recorder, SpeechMike dictation microphone or the Philips dictation recorder application for Smartphones, officers can securely transfer dictations or interviews to the SpeechLive cloud-storage folder where their transcriptionists can easily identify and access the files from any PC. By the time officers return to the station at the close of their shift, the reports will be ready for their review and signature.
Not only does SpeechLive enable greater productivity, it can also help reduce overtime hours and protect the safety of office staff because recordings can be securely accessed from the cloud and transcribed at home.
Just ask Lisa Laudenbach, an administrative assistant for the Waite Park Police Department in Waite Park, Minnesota. Thanks to her department adopting SpeechLive, she doesn’t have to travel back to the office at night on snow-covered roads to transcribe an urgent incident report or interview.
