Advanced Ground Information Systems, Inc. (AGIS) has developed the first cellular IP / WiFi based system that enables each user to see the real time identity, location and status of similarly equipped individuals. AGIS also provides the users the ability to easily enter geo-referenced items including: car accidents, fires, fallen people, incident locations, etc. High bandwidth cellular or WiFi communications enable each user to rapidly exchange the voice, text, photo and video clip data desirable to coordinate their activities with all other users. Furthermore, because of the low cost of cell phones, AGIS is able to accomplish this high level of information flow right down to the individual in the field. The AGIS Architecture is illustrated above. Identity, location and status data from each user is sent to the IP Server and then broadcast to all other users. Voice, text, photographs and video is addressed to the intended recipient.
