    Ideal for law enforcement and surveillance applications, AOR USA's AR-ALPHA broadband receiver combines technical advancements, multiple modes and a development in signal processing. AR-ALPHA tunes from 10 KHz to 3.5 GHz and features five VFOs, 2,000 alpha-numeric memories (40 banks of 50 channels), 40 search banks, a "select memory" bank of 100 frequencies and a user-designated priority channel. Multimode capabilities include P25 digital, AM (synchronous); ISB; RZ-SSB; USB; LSB; CW; WFM including FM stereo, NFM and TV in NTSC; PAL; and SECAM formats. The 6-inch TFT color panel can display received video signals, and there is a composite video output on the rear panel of the unit.
