BOCA RATON, Fla., April 10, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Cleartronic, Inc. (CLRI:OTCPINK) announces that its subsidiary ReadyOp Communications, Inc. was featured on two different television newscasts in Green Bay, Wisconsin. ReadyOp worked with the Green Bay Police Department, Green Bay School District and the Green Bay Fire Department to develop a cellphone app that provides real-time information and updates for emergency responders in any emergency situation. Included in the ReadyOp app is an overlay grid layout for every school in the school district that is available for access by all first responders on their cellphone. An important feature is that the information and displays can be easily updated and available during an event, thereby providing the first responders with the most accurate and current information.
The Green Bay Police Department and Green Bay School District security personnel provided immediate feedback and praise on the usefulness of the app. The ReadyOp app is simple to use and the real-time updates provide the responders detailed information on both victims and survivors.
New Wisconsin regulations, “School Safety Act,” require schools to provide floor plans of schools so emergency personnel can plan and respond if an emergency situation occurs. Now, those floor plans can be accessible by incorporating the floor plans and other important information for each school into the ReadyOp emergency app.
TV 2 WBAY, the ABC affiliate station in Green Bay, Wisconsin recently televised the importance of the ReadyOp Communications app and the reason on Green Bay School District implementing the technological app.
The televised story can be viewed at https://www.wbay.com/video?vid=507968432 or https://www.wbay.com/content/news/Blueprints-and-live-video-new-high-tech-system-being-used-to-respond-to-active-shooters-507966121.html.
ReadyOp CEO Marc Moore, states, “The successful use of ReadyOp with the new blueprint overlay provides an extra level of real-time knowledge that can be extremely helpful to first responders in any emergency situation. The app can give police and other first responders a real-time knowledge on locations, pictures and other information, helping to save lives and defuse emergency situations more quickly, safely and with the main objective, less casualties.”
ReadyOp provides a single, secure location for organizations to consolidate incident and emergency plans, rosters, tasks, roles, groups and more. Each agency through its secure website provides plans, personnel, and roles, emergency operations, callout teams and other groups that may be needed. ReadyOp enables users to communicate and interact quickly and efficiently with each other using voice, text, video, emails and two-way radios regardless of their location.
