Update
VeriLook 5.3 now detects 68 predefined facial feature points and includes gender classification from face images – a feature that is also included in the updated VeriLook Surveillance 2.2 SDK.
VeriLook 5.2 SDK for facial identification also includes improvements in recognition reliability with particular enhancements for recognition of faces that are rotated out-of-plane. Both VeriLook Embedded 1.1 SDK and the new VeriLook Surveillance 2.1 SDK use the new VeriLook 5.2 algorithm.
Neurotechnology's VeriLook facial identification technology is intended for biometric systems developers and integrators. The technology assures system performance and reliability with live face detection, simultaneous multiple face recognition and fast face matching in 1-to-1 and 1-to-many modes. VeriLook technology features more than a million deployments worldwide.
VeriLook is available as a software development kit (SDK) that can be used with most cameras and webcams, and allows development of PC- and Web-based solutions on Microsoft Windows, Linux and Mac OS X platforms. The SDK is available in Standard and Extended versions:
- VeriLook 5.0 Standard SDK is intended for PC-based biometric application development. It includes Face Matcher and Extractor components, programming samples and tutorials in major programming languages, camera manager library and software documentation.
- VeriLook 5.0 Extended SDK is intended for biometric Web-based and network application development. It includes all features and components of the Standard SDK. Additionally, the SDK contains Face Client component that supports ANSI and ISO biometric standards, sample client applications, tutorials and a ready-to-use matching server component.
A 30-day SDK trial and facial recognition algorithm demo application are available at Neurotechnology website.
