Global rugged computer manufacturer Getac announced the release of the sixth generation Getac B300 fully rugged notebook. The industry-leading B300 is equipped with the latest Intel 6th Generation Core™ i5/i7 processors, supporting Windows 10, to offer the safest, most advanced, ultra-rugged mobile computing solution on the market. This upgrade not only improves computing efficiency, but also offers smoother multimedia downloading with the Intel®HD 520 graphics card. Protection against hacking is also strengthened. The sixth-gen B300 emphasizes a low power consumption design, providing 15 hours of usage on a single battery and up to 30 hours with an optional second battery to enhance productivity and efficiency for professional users outdoors.

Combining many innovative technologies offered in Getac's rugged computers, the B300 is a classic model with advanced technologies that other models in its class simply cannot compare to. These technologies include the industry's first filterless night vision mode, ANSI explosion-proof certification, and salt fog shielding, as well as rich peripheral expansion capabilities, including PCMCIA, ExpressCard, SD card reader, three USB 3.0 ports, and RS232 and VGA ports. The exclusive QuadraClear™ panel technology enhances readability under sunlight; the screen's brightness can reach 1400 nits for clear reading. The B300's ruggedness meets several certifications including MIL-STD 810G, IP65, and MIL-461F, and ensures -29 degrees Celsius to 60 degrees Celsius operating capabilities.
