Digimerge Technologies announced its DH230 and DH250 "Touch Series" DVR’s are now compatible with Windows 7 Touch Screen enabled monitors. These DVRs may now be controlled and operated by simply tapping and swiping the screen. Adding touch screen capability is easily accomplished by downloading and installing the firmware update available on the Digimerge website.
Touch Screen compatibility offers highly convenient and user-friendly navigation.
The touch screen monitor connects to the DH230 / DH250 Series DVR via USB cable and drivers areautomatically installed. Video can be transmitted by VGA, HDMI, or DVI cable (using a DVI-to-HDMI adapter).Once connected, the User can easily tap their way through all the DVR’s functions. For example, double-tappingan individual screen in multi-screen mode goes to full-screen, and double-taping again reverts to multi-screen. Channels can be repositioned by dragging and dropping a screen into another channel section, thus enabling customization of viewing.
Pressing and holding anywhere on the screen activates the Virtual Remote – an on-screen version of theremote control, providing the same functionality as the physical remote control included with the system. Inmenu navigation, selecting various options is easily achieved by tapping the on-screen Enter / Exit buttons.
