Fujitsu has made available a scanner that allows users to quickly scan passports, driver's licenses, photographs, insurance cards, credit cards and other important small documents. The new scanner, capable of one second scans (at 200 dpi), is ideally suited for a variety of mobile and office applications. The scanner comes equipped with Hi-Speed USB connectivity and is "coverless" eliminating the repetitive task of opening and closing the cover before and after each scan. It also has auto-deskew and auto-cropping functionality to optimize scan size and quality, conserving storage resources and properly orienting scans regardless of how they are placed on the flatbed.
